IP classification, CIDR calculations and WireGuard syntax checks run in the browser; DNS lookup queries a public resolver.
IP classification, CIDR calculations and WireGuard syntax checks run locally. DNS lookup queries a public resolver and does not test device DNS leaks.

How to use this tool

  • Paste a WireGuard/wg-quick-style configuration with one [Interface] and at least one [Peer]. The built-in example uses sample keys; it is not a working connection profile.
  • Choose Check configuration. Review the line number, issue code and field name, then check the actual client manual before applying any change.

How to read the result

The checker looks for section structure, required fields, key encoding, CIDR format, selected numeric ranges and endpoint syntax. A line number of 0 identifies a document-level or missing-field issue. Output contains counts and issue descriptions; it never echoes private or preshared key values.

What this tool can establish

No issues means these syntax checks found no issue. It does not verify key ownership, the remote server, firewall permissions, routes, DNS, connectivity or leak protection. Unknown directives are not a complete parser-validation target.

Privacy and data handling

The supplied configuration stays in browser memory. This tool does not upload or persist it. Clear the input or close the page when finished, and redact keys before making any screenshot or sharing a configuration elsewhere.
