Documentation review
A provider profile records facts supported by the linked official pages or repositories. Record the relevant product, platform and source date. “Not recorded” is an evidence gap, not a negative test result. Client source code, account requirements, subscription terms and protocol availability must be evaluated separately.
A reproducible hands-on record
Record device and operating system, client/build, network/carrier, VPN endpoint, protocol, local time and test destination. Establish a baseline, keep one variable fixed when comparing options, repeat observations and retain raw results. Throughput, latency, IPv4/IPv6, DNS and controlled disconnection require separate checks; one successful request cannot prove all of them.
Limits of our tools
IP classification and subnet calculations describe entered values. WireGuard checks examine selected syntax rules without making a connection. DNS lookup asks Google Public DNS for public records. These tools cannot replace a device-level leak test, verify a provider’s logging policy or demonstrate a universal speed ranking.
Search and AI evidence
Discovery, indexing, ranking, crawler visits, AI citations and referral clicks are different observations. A sitemap or crawler-readable page enables access; it does not establish indexing or an AI recommendation. Each reported result needs evidence from the relevant search, crawler or referral record.
